Content Guidelines & Reporting

The standards we hold ourselves to, how our reviews are produced in practice, and how to flag anything you believe crosses a line.

Our editorial standards

Every review and guide on hotelunatop.online is expected to be:

How our reviews are produced

Our reviews draw on two clearly separated sources. Where one of our writers has visited a property in person, the review reflects their own first-hand observations of the rooms, service, facilities and surroundings. Where a property has not been visited, the write-up is compiled from the property's own published information and from publicly available guest feedback, and the page says so plainly rather than describing a stay that did not take place.

Two limits we state openly:

How we handle guest reviews

Traveller quotations on our pages come from publicly available guest feedback. We select them to reflect the balance of real opinion, positive and negative, and we never fabricate praise. We summarise or shorten rather than republishing third-party reviews in full, we attribute the platform the feedback came from, and we do not reproduce more of someone else's text than is needed to make the point — both out of respect for the author's rights and because a wall of copied text tells you less than a summary. Where feedback was written about a different property or is clearly fake, defamatory or privacy-invading, we remove it.

Corrections

When we get something wrong we fix it, note that the page was updated, and say what changed if the change is material. Properties are welcome to request corrections and we act on evidence, not on pressure — but a correction request is never treated as a nuisance.

Reporting content

If you believe something here is inaccurate, out of date, unfair or otherwise breaches these guidelines, tell us. This includes properties wishing to correct factual errors about themselves, and anyone who believes a review describes an experience that did not take place.

Email [email protected] or use our feedback form. Please include:

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your report, usually within two business days.
  2. We check the content against these guidelines and the available evidence.
  3. Where a correction is warranted we update the page and date the change; where content cannot be substantiated, we remove it.
  4. We tell you the outcome.

Intellectual property and takedowns

If you are a rights holder and believe your material — a photograph, a review text, a logo — has been used improperly, email [email protected] with the page, the material and a statement of your rights. We respond promptly and remove material where the claim is made out, without requiring you to litigate first.
